By now most of you hopefully have had the chance to check out the red band trailer for the Evil Dead remake that was released a couple of weeks ago, and if you haven’t…why the hell not? Now comes the release of the green band trailer, which means it’s suitable for general audiences with no gore. I know you’re probably asking yourself why you would want to watch the green band trailer if it has no gore…because it offers us some new footage that’s not in any of the other trailers, that’s why. Evil Dead is directed by Fede Alvarez and is produced by original director Sam Raimi, Rob Tapert, and Bruce Campbell. The film stars Jane Levy, Shiloh Fernandez, Lou Taylor Pucci, Elizabeth Blackmore and Jessica Lucas. Look for Evil Dead to hit theaters on April 12, 2013.
Film Synopsis:
In the much anticipated remake of the 1981 cult-hit horror film, five twenty-something friends become holed up in a remote cabin. When they discover a Book of the Dead, they unwittingly summon up dormant demons living in the nearby woods, which possess the youngsters in succession until only one is left intact to fight for survival.
