SyFy acquires ‘Lost Girl,’ debuts January 16, 2012

The SyFy Channel has acquired the rights to show  episodes of Canada’s “Lost Girl.” The show is supernatural crime drama about a succubus, Bo, who tries to learn her new skills, help others in need, and find out more about where she came from. “Lost Girl” is currently gearing for season three, but SyFy will start showing the series in America on January 16, 2012.  Due to the show’s dark and adult nature, episodes will air at 10PM. Season one consistes of 13 original episodes.

The series will also feature a bunch of other mystical creatures including sirens and other beasts, or “fae” as they’re referred to on the show. These creatures, some fearsome and some friendly, will tempt Bo to join either side of life. “Lost Girl” stars Anna Silk, Ksenia Solo, Kristen Holden, Zoie Palmer, Rick Rowland, K.C.
