Here’s a scary mask giveaway at Halloween: Those who have seen and love the movie “Bryan Loves You” – and there are plenty who don’t – can try their chances to win an actual mask from the film that was made in the Valley. Only about 50 masks were made for the low-budget psychological thriller, said the film’s director/producer Seth Landau, a onetime Gilbert resident.
To mark the first anniversary of the film’s release, the signature prop is available to one random person who comments on the video, available at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5YryUHHhD-Q
The contest is open to anyone with a United States or Canadian mailing address. Runners up receive the film’s promotional t-shirts. Landau said the mask giveaway is to further affirm that the film is “fan- and viewer-friendly.”
He sought to be inclusive “and have people feel like they’re part of the experience, unlike with a Hollywood movie.”
