Darkness Rising at Darress Theater

bilde.jpgThere’s a perfectly good reason why Sayreville’s David Swan would hold the premiere of his indie horror film “Only Go There at Night: Darkness Rising” at the Darress Theatre in Boonton.

It’s haunted, of course….. “The theater is mentioned on everyone’s list of haunted New Jersey sites,” Swan said.

A showing of Swan’s previous film, “Only Go There At Night,” also known as the Lambertville Massacre, at this time last year was thankfully uneventful when it came to paranormal patter.

“There were no ghosts flying through the theater,” Swan said.

Well see about that tonight. In “Darkness Rising,” while it appears that Christian Copeland has committed the perfect crime, a copycat killer brings new attention to his misdeeds and forces Copeland to catch the new killer before the police turn their attention to him.
