Rough Cut Review

How far would you go to make a movie? Apparently Blaine Norris thought he needed to commit murder in order to get his film finished. He was set on making an independent horror film called Through Hike and had actress Robin Griggs all set to star in it until she hurt her wrist. Sounds awful to say but maybe it was a blessing in disguise for her.

Randi Trimble was a very loving an respectful person who didn’t have a bad bone in her body. Randi was born in 1974 at a Navy hospital. Randi was a very happy easy going woman who just cared so much for everyone around her. Watching this film you really can not understand her husbands reasoning on why she was killed.

Blaine Norris felt that Randi was interfering with the film by making Brian not get involved as he had planned. Plus she didn’t want Brian to lend Blaine his expensive camera equipment. So Brian told Blaine he couldn’t and that’s when a plan began to form about how they could get rid of her for good. Brian already wanted out of the marriage and was planning on divorcing her.

What was going thru Brian’s mind that made him think that killing her was better then divorcing her? He made an agreement with Blaine that he wanted him to strangle her. Blaine went on his anger and the hope that the money he would receive for killing her would be enough to finish his film. The cops feel that Blaine enjoyed what he did that night murdering Randi and if he wasn’t caught, he would of did it again.

Blaine felt that the whole situation was like a game and even though there were high stakes he could still win. He was a sociopath and had no conscioius to make him feel guilty or make him lose any sleep at night. The two men’s families were left totally bewildered at what made their children into killers. Neither man was abused or had a rough life growing up.

No one deserves to die like poor Randi did. Those bastards deserve the death sentence for what they did. Blaine stabbed Randi over 28 times. How can he live with himself? He claims to have finally found God and that God forgave him. I hope and pray that Randi’s mom somehow manages to find peace and the will to go on but I know she will never forget….
