Home Entertainment label Camp Motion Pictures announced a new initiative to bring ultra-niche and deep catalog programming to the market via the launch of a new DVD-ON-Demand Series. Featuring professionally authored DVDs with interactive menus and extras, the series seeks to introduce – or re-introduce – previously lost, forgotten or overlooked independent genre programs to potential fans at a competitive price point, while ensuring physical inventory is perfectly aligned with customer demand. As with all Camp releases, the ON-Demand DVDs will include extras in the form of commentaries, behind-the-scenes or interviews.
Kicking off the series are the classic-gothic-horror inspired Vampyre and The Drowned , directed by Bruce Hallenbeck, and the comedy-horror-parody Paranormal Investigation Agency , directed by Chris Seaver.
Vampyre (1990) – First time to DVD! Traumatized by vampires as a young man, David Gray grows into an adult dedicated to fighting the bloodthirsty forces of evil.
