This morning Paramount Pictures debuted the first trailer for upcoming horror movie Rings.
Synopsis: A young woman becomes worried about her boyfriend when he explores a dark subculture surrounding a mysterious videotape said to kill the watcher seven days after he has viewed it. She sacrifices herself to save her boyfriend and in doing so makes a horrifying discovery: there is a “movie within the movie” that no one has ever seen before…
Directed by F. Javier Gutierrez, the third installment in the horror franchise stars Laura Wiggins (“Shameless,” “The Tomorrow People”), Aimee Teegarden (“Friday Night Lights,” Scream 4), Johnny Galecki (“The Big Bang Theory,” “Entourage”), Lizzie Brochere (“American Horror Story,” “The Strain”), Alex Roe (“The Cut,” The Fifth Wave) and Zach Roerig (“One Life to Live,” “The Vampire Diaries”) with Bonnie Morgan taking over the role as Samara.
It’s kind of interesting to see how the story has evolved after being left dormant for 15 years. Is the trailer enough to get you excited about the Rings release on October 28, 2016?
