- 1996 – Vince Edwards, appeared in “The Fear”, “Son of Darkness: To Die for II”, “Cellar Dwellar”, “Return To Horror High”, “Tales from the Darkside (TV Series).” He passed away at the age of 67.
- 1969 – Author John Wyndham, who penned the novels “The Midwich Cuckoos” which was adapted for the screen as “Village of the Damned” and the novel “Day of the Triffids,” which became a movie of the same name, passed away at the age of 65.
- 1931 – F.W. (Friedrich Wilhelm) Murnau, who directed “Der Januskopf” (“Dr. Jekyll & Mr. Hyde”), the 1922 version of “Nosferatu,” and the 1926 version of “Faust,” passed away at the age of 42.
