  • 2007 – Janet Blair who starred in the film “Burn, Witch Burn,” passed away at the age of 85.
  • 2006 – James Hardiman, who penned the novel “The House Where Evil Dwells,” on which the movie of the same name was based, passed away at the age of 86
  • 1990 – Michael Powell, directed the cult film “Peeping Tom”, “The Tales of Hoffmann.”
  • 1969 – Madge Blake, who played “Aunt Harriet” on the “Batman” TV series, passed away at the age of 69.
  • 1956 – Tod Slaughter, who portrayed “Sweeny Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street” in the 30’s and 40’s, passed away at the age of 70.
