  • 2003 – David Hemmings, who starred in the films “Deep Red Hatchet Murders,” “Barbarella” and “The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen,” passed away at the age of 62.
  • 2002 – Glenn Quinn, appeared in “Angel (TV Series)”, “Campfire Tales”, “Dr. Giggles.” He passed away at the young age of 32 from a drug overdose.
  • 2000 – Jun Fukuda, who directed “Godzilla vs. the Sea Monster,” “Son of Godzilla” and “Godzilla vs. Gigan,” passed away at the age of 77
  • 1999 – Madeline Kahn who co-starred in “Young Frankenstein” and “The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes’ Smarter Brother,” passed away at the age of 57.
  • 1943 – The wonderful Maria Ouspenskaya, passed away at the age of 73.  She is best known for her role as “Maleva” the gypsy woman in the films “The Wolf Man” and “Frankenstein Meets the Wolf Man.”
  • 1894 – Author Robert Louis Stevenson, creator of “Dr. Jekyll & Mr. Hyde,” passed away at the age of 44.
