TV – NBC is developing ‘The Devil’s Advocate’ for series!

Remember the 1997 horror/thriller The Devil’s Advocate starring Keanu Reeves as a young lawyer who worked at a law firm run by the Devil himself, played by Al Pacino? Well, it looks like NBC is developing it for a potential series from producers John Wells and Arnold Kopelson. Get all the details below.

Wells and Kopelson are bringing the 1997 film The Devil’s Advocate to TV as a potential series. It is being described as a legal drama with a supernatural twist from Warner Bros. TV.

It is being written by Matt Venne (Bag Of Bones, The Exorcism Of Molly Harley), the series centers on a public defender who joins a law firm that is run by the Devil himself.

The Devil’s Advocate series is produced by WBTV and studio-based John Wells Prods., with Wells, Kopelson and Andrew Stearn executive producing and Venne, repped by APA, Industry Entertainment and Stone, Meyer, Genow, serving as a co-executive producer.
