2000 – Werner Klemperer, best known for playing “Col. Wilhelm Klink” on “Hogan’s Heroes” but he also appeared in “Thriller (TV Series)”, “Dark Intruder”, “Lost in Space (TV Series)”, “Rod Serling’s Night Gallery (TV Series)”, passed away at the age of 80.

1993 – Don Ameche, who starred in the films “Dante’s Inferno,” “Cocoon” and “Cocoon: The Return,” passed away at the age of 85.

1989 – Frances Bavier, best known for playing “Aunt Bee” on “The Andy Griffith Show”, but she also appeared in “The Bad Seed” and “The Day the Earth Stood Still”, passed away at the age of 86.

1972 – Janet Munro, appeared in “The Crawling Eye”, “The Day the Earth Caught Fire”, passed away at 38.
