The favorite fan film series, Stab, is returning with a sixth installment! The Stab movies are obviously created and based off of the iconic Scream movies by Wes Craven. Stab has created its own world and Ghostfaced killers that revolves originally and independently around the Scream universe. In Stab 6, old faces will return and new faces will debut all with hopes of surviving the man-in-black’s blade. The official synopsis is as follows: “After more of the Stab 4 cast is brutally murdered, reporter Kylie Scott, now the author of a book entitled “Manchester Massacre,” convinces the Stab Movies Team to begin production on a new Stab 5, based on the “real life” murders of the cast of Stab 4: Fresh Blood. To cast this new “inspired-by-another-true-story” film, production also begins on a Stab Reality/Competition television show, where contestants compete for four roles in the new Stab 5. The only problem is: once you become a cast member of a Stab movie… someone… somewhere… wants you dead.”

Just when you thought it was safe…. GHOSTFACE RETURNS in StabMovies.com latest entry into their series of five, free-for-online-viewing, Scream Fan-Films. Writer/Director Joshua Patrick Dudley (Lost in Oz, Stab 4, Stab 5) gives us a rundown.
“I think Stab 6 is the best script I’ve written yet!” Dudley says. “Stab 4 and Stab 5 focused a lot on how cheesy the Stab films should be and how typical the characters acted in these ‘real life’ horror movie situations. Sure, we did through a few curve balls in, like killing our lead girl in the opening sequence of Stab 5, but basically it was just you’re run of the mill Scream knock-off. This time, I wanted the movie to take itself a little more seriously and same goes for the characters. I even told the new actors, ‘Don’t play your parts like you’re an actress in a horror movie, play them like you’re a real person and this is really happening to you,’ and I think they got it!”
Production on Stab 6 begins on April 29, 2012 and will wrap at the end of July. There are some returning faces (Rachel Alexandria Arnold, Stephanie Maheu, Mandi Russell, Heidi Nicolle) and a whole slew of new-comers for GhostFace to hack off one by one. Details of the script are still being kept under-wraps and again, like the previous two films, most of the cast didn’t receive the whole script, to prevent any spoilers from leaking before the film debuts.
“We will definitely continue our Stab Production Vlogs and we have a whole bunch of cool promo stuff coming up with the cast.
