Ninjas Vs Monsters, Preproduction & Funding!

Click here to donate to the Kickstarter page.

Those crazy ninjas are at it again! Although, I had convinced myself that they’d be squaring off against werewolves in the next installment, the third and final film in the franchise has an equally clever plot. Justin Timpane will bring the Ninjas saga to a close with the final film Ninjas Vs Monsters. And by monsters, he means all the great movie monsters and villains that every generation have grown up with – Dracula, Frankenstein, the Werewolf, the Mummy; even some sort of pirate guy if I looked at the kickstarter video correctly.

Oh, yes. Kickstarter! Ninjas Vs Monsters is currently in preproduction and is attempting to gather more funds for the film through that donation site. On the page, they mention that the even a couple more bucks can drastically affect the quality of film while noting the difference between Zombies and Vampires. You get some pretty cool prizes by donating, too, including signed DVDs, comic book adaptations of the series, “funder” credits, artwork, company promotion, props, and even a role in the film! Pledges start at $20 bucks – and with that you already get a copy of the finished film and a “key funder” credit!

When we last left the Ninjas gang, they had lost two of their members in a brutal battle against a cult of vampires. However, one of them managed to return somehow at the end of the film…again, somehow. Maybe that will be addressed in the new film? Ninjas Vs Monsters could very well pick up right where Vampires left off. Daniel Ross “as Kyle” is slated to return to the film and hopefully the gang from the previous film will too.

Monsters will begin filming Spring 2012 and will be released to DVD and VOD within the same year. Apparently, distributors have already begun to show interest. So, get your wallets out and start donating to this award winning indie horror-comedy series! And as always, if you can’t donate – the next best thing you can do is promote the Kickstarter page!
