REVIEW: Little Erin Merryweather
|
Review by AngryPrincess A Flash of Red Then your Dead: Growing up most little girls are told fairy tales about prince charming coming to save you and be your true love forever…bullshit. Why even pump this pathetic nonsense into our heads, how many prince charmings have you come across in this lifetime? yea, didn’t think so. Well poor little Erin Merryweather was told beautiful tales from her father all the while he would rape and abuse her. Now it’s the present you see and this story now takes place on a New England College campus where Peter tries to investigate the weird killings that are starting to add up. The victims are people he knows or they are in his criminal class. He also stares longingly across the room at his object of desire Erin. She notices his stare and is obviously interested- then fate has them teamed up on a class assignment. As things slowly come to a head, you feel bad for Erin since she was obviously traumatized by her fathers disgraceful actions, but ofcourse you can’t condone her gruesome actions. I really liked looking at the art, the drawings of red ridinghood and the wolf. The way that red glared at your from the paper. Little Erin Merryweather is she real or just a myth from long ago? |
