VersusMedia TV Needs You

titleVersusMedia is seeking independent films for their new web network launching in the coming weeks.

March 3, 2008 — VersusMedia would like to announce their new streaming web network, VersusMedia TV, scheduled to launch in the coming weeks.

Independent filmmakers are invited to submit their feature length films, shorts and documentaries of all genres.

Internet television is quickly becoming a solid method of exposure for filmmakers. With a built-in network of over 5,000 independent filmmakers and musicians utilizing their web site, VersusMedia believes that they can offer a strong network rich with content based upon quality, not quantity.

VersusMedia’s goal is to have the network pre-IPTV ready within the next couple of months, and IPTV capable by the end of summer.

“We’re going to start out on a simple format with only a limited number of videos to get things underway, but we plan on having a weekly schedule as soon as possible”, says founder Ryan Vinson. “It’s an exciting time for video streaming. People have been trying to use the Internet for streaming content over the last 10 years with limited success. It appears that the time has finally come.”

For further information about how you can submit your film, please contact VersusMedia.
