The Edison Film Society of Edison College is hosting an outdoor screening of two vintage horror films on Friday, Oct. 26.

“Night of the Living Dead” is a zombie classic and a must-see for anyone who appreciates campy horror. The other film, “Plan 9 from Outer Space” has been affectionately dubbed “the best bad movie in history.” It was directed (in perfect seriousness) by Ed Wood and was the subject of the 1994 Tim Burton film “Ed Wood,” starring Johnny Depp.

Bring blankets, chairs, friends and a picnic. It will be fun.

The movies will be shown in the field behind the Edison statue near the cafeteria. “Seating” begins at 7 p.m. with “Night of the Living Dead” shown at 7:30 and “Plan 9 From Outer Space” at 9:15.

Popcorn and Movies are FREE!

Edison College is located at 8099 College Pky in Fort Myers.
