I just found a real good article on the Death of J-Horror. One of my personal favorite types of horror in the movie world today. J-Horror takes the more spiritual side of everyday life and blends it in together with the mundane type shit that most of us do on a daily basis. Taking ritual type chores and adding in some creepy scary situations makes J-Horror all so scary and rather believable.

Take a look at Ringu for instance. Who knew that just watching a simple videotape could lead to your and possibly others death. Or simply moving into a house at the wrong time could lead to death for you and all who enter in the building. Or perhaps meeting a nice attractive woman and then being force fed vomit later on is just the type of thing Im taking about.

So is J-Horror Dead?? You tell me!!
