April 28th, 2007 at the Orpheum Theatre in Madison, Wisconsin. The first ever Wisconsin Underground Film Festival brings the art of horror/exploitation to Wisconsin's capitol city.

The event will feature independent film submissions from filmmakers who understand and embrace the genres of horror and exploitation cinema. The event will also feature live underground metal bands playing throughout the event, along with other facets of horror culture on display. We will also be honoring Wisconsin horror film icon Bill Rebane with the "Wisconsin Underground Lifetime Achievement Award" and screening one of Rebane's classic cult films.
