| If you havent heard yet, there is a bunch of films going to be shown at the theaters for a limited time only this November 17-19. "8 Films to Die For" is a collection of horror movies that will be put together for your viewing pleasure. Labeled too intense for regualr theatrical release, these movies are the cream of the crop in independent horror. Most of them have made the rounds at conventions and horror film festivals.
Personally I have had the pleasure of viewing "Unrest" this past weekend at the Chicago Horror Film Festival. That one walked away with best film! And it was a good one. If the other films are anything like Unrest, then you have your hands full!
Check out more about the films and a trailer below…
Unrest A med student collapses upon sensing a "presence" about her cadaver. Her fears are strengthened by a mysterious death. She must find out the truth behind before its angered spirit can wreak further vengeance.
Penny Dreadful Young Penny goes on a retreat with her psychologist. The intention is to help her overcome her phobia of cars. But events find her in a nightmarish situation where her worst fears come true.
The Grave Dancers A group of friends' lives are invaded by a trio of hostile ghosts after they engage in a drunken bout of gravedancing during a wake for an old chum.
The Hamiltons A picture-perfect American family is always kind, loving and respectful to their neighbors… except that they usually wind up killing them.
