More zombies than you can find in a shopping mall during this 48-hour horror marathon.

If you just cant get enough of Zombies, and well….who cant. Monsters HD will be running a Labor Day “Marathon of the Dead” this weekend.

THE SKINNY: Voom’s Monsters HD is a high definition channel set up exclusively for the horror genre. They are set to send out the summer with an in depth 48-hour marathon. The marathon will run from Sept. 3-4. The entire marathon deals with the murderous rampages of the living dead. Check out the huge list of flicks for the Marathon below. Here are the films you’ll see during the marathon.THE GHOUL (1933) directed by T. Hayes Hunter - The first British film to be labeled “horrific.” An ancient Egyptian returns from the dead to take revenge on those who have violated his tomb. With Boris Karloff.

NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD (1968) directed by George Romero - The dead come back to life and eat the living in this classic, low budget, black and white film. Several people barricade themselves inside a rural house in an attempt to survive the night. Outside are hordes of relentless, shambling zombies who can only be killed by a blow to the head.

DAWN OF THE DEAD (1978) directed by George Romero - In this first sequel to Night of the Living Dead, a group of four people take up residence in a deserted mall while trying to stay alive amidst the armies of the dead and a vicious gang of militant bikers.

DAY OF THE DEAD (1985) directed by George Romero - In this final chapter of George A. Romero’s “Dead Trilogy”, only a handful of survivors are left to stop the living dead and must figure out how to do that before they kill each other in their underground compound.

THE EVIL DEAD (1988) directed by Sam Raimi - Five friends are spending the weekend in a remote cabin in the woods. While investigating the cellar they discover a tape and a decaying old book full of strange incantations. The tape is played and it unleashes powerful evil force from the forest, determined to destroy every last one of them.

RETURN OF THE LIVING DEAD PART II (1988) directed by Ken Wiederhorn - A gang of kids accidentally release of mysterious gas which wakes up the inhabitants of an adjacent graveyard. The zombies want only one thing and that’s BRAINS.

RETURN OF THE LIVING DEAD PART III (1993) directed by Brian Yuzna - Colonel Reynolds and his group of government scientists continue their work on re-animating the dead for military use.

TOMBS OF THE BLIND DEAD (1971) directed by Amando de Ossorio - In medieval times, a group of renegade knights were executed for their black magic rituals. In 1970s Portugal, vacationing college kids fall prey to the knights’ zombified corpses, resurrected from the dead to feast on the blood of the living.

RETURN OF THE EVIL DEAD (1973) directed by Amando de Ossorio - 500 years after they were blinded and executed for committing human sacrifices, a band of Templar knights returns from the grave to terrorize a rural Portuguese village during it’s centennial celebration.

GHOST SHIP OF THE BLIND DEAD (1974) directed by Amando de Ossorio - A pair of models staging a publicity stunt on the high seas in a motor launch mysteriously disappear after reporting a mysterious ghost ship. After learning that the ghost ship has been seen along the meridian the party discovers the ship is inhabited by undead, blood-drinking Templar knights.

SUGAR HILL (1974) directed by Paul Maslansky - When her boyfriend is brutally murdered, after refusing to be shaken down by the local gangsters running their protection racket, Sugar Hill, decides not to get mad, but BAD! The bad guys who thought they were getting away clean are about to find out that they’re DEAD wrong.

DEAD HEAT (1988) directed by Mark Goldblatt - When Mortis is killed in the line of duty, he gets a jump start from the Resurrection machine and takes the fight to the zombie bad guys. With Treat Williams and Joe Piscopo.
